Job Opening: Program Assistant & Tour Facilitator
Contract Period: long-term
Salary: depending on qualification and performance

We are now looking for a Tour & Program Facilitator to develop, guide and administer journeys within the valley and beyond. We are interested in you if you have a strong business understanding and an equally strong desire to make social change happen. We want to know you if you are a pro-active self-starter, an enchanting communicator, a thorough planner, a creative improviser, a curious traveller, an eager learner, a people lover, a reliable administrator and a fun colleague.

This position will be based in Kathmandu with travel guiding and facilitation around the valley and beyond

Responsibilities

• Help design tours and coordinate logistics and side events
• Produce content for PR materials and promote journeys and events online/offline
• Develop budgets, administer expenses and support accounting
• Update and expand the existing contact databases
• Identify training needs and help develop respective programs
• Guide tours for guests with interest in social enterprises and social impact businesses
• Help identify and assess ventures, research and collate information

Requirements:

• Bachelor in business, marketing/sales or development related studies
• Fluency in English and Nepali (verbal and writing)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong project management and thorough administration skills
• Experience in the field of social entrepreneurship or enterprise development
• Experience in travel and tourism is an add-on but not required
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to identify partnership opportunities and to connect people
