'The ideas were really innovative and original. It was a great experience to meet those people and visit these places. It was also a captivating experience to meet and network with all those people who want to change something. I would definitely repeat this experience.'
Marc Jacobs, Vice President Cercle Solvay & Director Fondation AudreyJacobs
'If you go on a Hidden Journeys tour you really meet inspiring people. You won't necessarily learn about things that you want to replicate exactly, but you will get ideas about how to start whatever it is that you want to do. The main thing that I took away from this weekend is that it's not about being an expert in something, and it's not about having a fully determined plan before you start. It's about really wanting to start something - a new project, a change in life direction, or whatever - and having the guts to go and do it. The tour gave me the impetus to think about the changes I want to make and inspired me to go and start something new.'

'The tour was beautifully designed and flawlessly managed and all the entrepreneurs were hand-picked and simply awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed travelling with an enthusiastic team and travel mates. Hidden journeys is an experience of a lifetime; for those who seek knowledge and love traveling. Unlike contemporary educational tour, you get a chance to mingle with social entrepreneurs, understand their contributions and have in-depth discussions. The tailor made program makes you enjoy a little bit of other's life, understand their troubles and their beautiful solutions. For me, it was a must journey.'
Tushar Neupaney, programmer, blogger and Youth Action Fund grantee
'It is wonderful to see these people with all their various backgrounds doing amazing things in different fields. I am trying to learn about entrepreneurship and from everyone of the many creative people we met and their experiences you can learn something.'
Daniel Roig, Volunteer and Traveller
'I was inspired by people from all spectrum of social entrepreneurship, from early stage to acceleration to sustainable enterprises. The tour has allowed me to network, connect and be inspired by other entrepreneurs. It has been a really rewarding and fulfilling experience and there is so much to think and reflect now because I have gained so much from the last two days. The Hidden Journey has opened my eyes.'
Tenzin Sonam Gonsar, Founder and Executive Director Eduliftacademy
'Enrolling in Hidden Journeys was not only a great pleasure, but a mind-opening, enriching and refreshing experience. It gave me the chance of not only meeting very interesting entrepreneurs, but also discovering all these projects surrounded by inspiring people from whom I learnt so much, with whom we held debates, with whom we exchanged points of views, contacts and impressions.
Getting to know these projects opened my eyes in the way that any problem can be approached in so many different ways, and all it takes is courage, motivation and sometimes a great risk to change things and make this world a better place.
The wide range of fields we got to know in only two days could definitely fulfill our expectations and help discover new areas of concern. I hope HJ keeps on impressing people like it did to me.'
Marta Valls Esteve, Freelance Filmmaker
'I wanted to learn how change happens in Nepal and participating in Hidden Journeys was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend the tours for those who are starting their own venture, if you want to create change yourself, if you seek inspiration for your work and if you are looking for great people to connect and partner with.'

'This tour was a real change from academic learning and reading case studies. It was great to see people who are in different phases from start-ups to retired change-makers. For me there were two fundamental learnings or affirmations from what all of them had in common: One is that they are fully embedded in their communities for the long-term and that social change can not be achieved through a short term project. Secondly it was also interesting to see how they all appeared to build upon a number of small and then bigger successes to establish trust with the communities and then expand their activities.'
Andrew Dodson, Public Health Consultant
'While returning from the Hidden Journey, the one thing was in my mind was Action, Action and Action. Hidden Journey was a truly insightful tour which not only inspired me but motivated me to take initiative. I was particularly impressed by Rabindra Puri who showed us ways how to promote and preserve our cultural heritage.'
Niroj Maharjan, Founder and Program Coordinator at We Inspire Nepal
'Luna and the Hidden Journeys team arranged a most interesting and informative journey for me during my visit to Nepal. Hidden Journey's deep experience and wide network of contacts in Nepal enabled them to both understand what I wanted to learn during my visit and facilitate connections to the appropriate persons.
Nepal's social enterprise space is emerging, and Hidden Journeys plays a critical role in connecting visitors to the country with those playing a leading role in the field. I would highly recommend anyone interested in learning more about the social enterprise sector in Nepal to consider a Hidden Journey.'
Jordan Aibel, Investment Analyst, Lotus Impact Investments
'After almost 25 years experience in education, design and business including 12 years specializing in innovation, I was on a personal journey to re-align my career with my values around social issues.
Hidden Journeys went out of the way to create a personalized tour experience for me since I would be in Nepal only a short time. The ability to have these conversations on site in the field and not in generic meeting rooms made all the difference.
This is a warm, inter-personal experience that affords you the chance to develop a unique relationship with the social entrepreneurship network in Nepal.'
Margaret Alrutz, Design Thinker, Strategist and Researcher
'The tour was amazing and does exactly what it has to do in terms of informing about social entrepreneurship. You really get the things that you expected to get.'
